She decided to follow an unconventional approach, and reduced 20 lines of code into just 5. Her teacher marked it wrong, but Madhurima proved it otherwise when she tested it on a computer. As the teacher lauded her in front of the class, Madhurima felt an overwhelming rush of self-confidence, which would go on to help her tread unbeaten paths later in life.

This despite the fact I’ve been supporting decentralized software, as a counterweight or at least alternative to the growing power of governments and megacorps, for years now .
