This is how Google is celebrating ship getting freed from Suez Canal

If you search for terms like “Suez Canal” or “Ever Given” on Google, you will be able to see an animation of ship emojis sailing by underneath the Google Search bar. The animation appears to be live only on desktop as of now as mobile or web versions of Google are not displaying it yet.

This despite the fact I’ve been supporting decentralized software, as a counterweight or at least alternative to the growing power of governments and megacorps, for years now .
