Apple rolled out iOS 14.5 software update which includes important privacy updates and also the ability to unlock your iPhone while you are wearing a mask. Along with these important changes, the update also brings a notable update -- a vaccine emoji.

This despite the fact I’ve been supporting decentralized software, as a counterweight or at least alternative to the growing power of governments and megacorps, for years now .
